Jason Levine, co-founder and partner
Jason Levine has a PhD in finance and an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business. He also received a master’s degree in computer science and bachelor’s degrees in both mathematics and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Jason is a CFA® charterholder.
He has been developing retirement software since 2005, also under Nobel Laureate Robert C. Merton and at Dimensional Fund Advisors. Jason has worked in government, analyzing and pricing the risk of various government programs, including some retirement programs.
He began his career at FactSet, developing software to process and store live market data.
ALLISON SCHRAGER, Co-founder and partner
Allison Schrager has a PhD in economics from Columbia University, where she specialized in retirement economics, and a degree in economics from the University of Edinburgh.
She has been developing retirement planning software since 2007 under the supervision of Nobel Laureate Robert C. Merton, including three years leading retirement product development at Dimensional Fund Advisors. Allison also is a noted writer and thought leader in retirement finance.
Her writing has appeared in The Economist, Bloomberg Businessweek, Quartz, Foreign Affairs, The Atlantic, and Reuters.
